Gone with the Wind
The day before we left for our trip, the Fall Colors websites were reporting spectacular peak color. We had to temper our expectations though because we knew a dry storm with high winds was moving across California on our travel day. But we didn't think it would be this bad: by the time we arrived, all of the trees had been stripped of their leaves.
