THE LIVING SHORELINE PROJECT
The Living Shoreline Project is a living land art installation at Cooley Landing in East Palo Alto. Originally conceived as a temporary installation during my Creative Ecology Art + Science Residency through the Palo Alto Art Center and Junior Museum and Zoo during July 2015, it is now a living land art installation made from California Native plant Juncus patens. I collaborated with restoration non-profit Grassroots Ecology and the community to plant the Juncus. This project was made possible with funding by the Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District.
