This artwork is an abstract expression of the transformations that take place when we move water from one location to another and change its use. Crystal blue natural lakes throughout the west have been drained and turned into desiccated playas of toxic dust so that we may fill our swimming pools and water our lawns in the desert cities of the west. Is it worth it?
