Video of Mule Train Passing us
Before I started this trip, the thought of having a mule train pass me on the cliffs of the Grand Canyon didn't sound like my idea of a good time. They tell you to (1) step off the trail on the uphill side away from the edge; (2) follow the wrangler's directions; remain completely quiet and stand perfectly still; and (3) do not return to the trail until the last mule is 50 feet (15 meters) past your position. Here's a short 30-second video of what it was really like when a mule train passed us.
