I was one of five semi-finalists for the design of 16 tall glass windows for a library renovation in San Lorenzo, CA. Each artist created a design proposal and two 12" h x 12" w glass samples. My designs are inspired by the question: what attracts people to San Lorenzo, from the first tribal villages to today’s community? From research, observation and listening to community members, a common thread emerged of valuing natural resources – especially the bay and the creek. Scroll down to see more of my proposal designs. I didn't get the commission however some of the designs became artworks in my series Urban Power vs. San Lorenzo Creek, What's Next?
