Year: 2016
Dimensions: 35” h x 35” w x 1½” d installed
Bullseye sheet glass, glass frit, copper, sandblasting
The Ghost of Wetlands Past installation documents the loss of San Francisco Bay wetlands near Palo Alto juxtaposed with surviving wetlands. The designs are based on present day aerial photographs and historical United States Coast Survey (USCS) coastline maps from 1850-60.
