Kern-Kaweah River

We left the High Sierra Trail at Junction Meadow and rather than heading east towards Mt. Whitney, we headed northwest into the drainage for a tributary of the Kern, the Kern-Kaweah River. We were rewarded for our steep climb with these beautiful waterfalls and cascades.
