Tarn below Red Peak Pass

Looking towards the peaks that form the boundary between Yosemite and the Ansel Adams Wilderness with the Merced River Valley in between. Iron Oxide in the rock gives the formations in this area their red color - an unusual sight in Yosemite where so many of the peaks are light grey.
