Red Bud in Bloom at Indian Garden Campsite
The next day was easy and leisurely. We hiked 4.7 miles and up 1,380 feet to another backcountry campground, Indian Garden, where we only had to camp with 45 people. Solitude wasn't part of this trip but the views more than made up for that. More signs of spring surrounded us, like these red bud trees in bloom.
